Vulnerability Detection

< 1 min read

Vulnerability badge and security section in the dashboard

UpWiz checks known public vulnerability information for the plugin version you have now and the version you are thinking about installing.

Why it matters #

  • You can spot when your current version has a known issue.
  • You can see whether the available update appears to resolve that issue.

What to do #

Open the details drawer and review the Security section. If your current version is vulnerable and the available update fixes it, update promptly. If no fix is available, review the vendor guidance and consider temporary mitigation for high-risk plugins.

If you want ongoing alerts, enable vulnerability monitoring in UpWiz → Settings → Alerts & reports.

Important: “No known issue found” is not a guarantee. UpWiz can only report issues that are publicly disclosed, and coverage is more limited for some premium plugins.
