When an update package is available through WordPress, you can install it directly from the UpWiz dashboard without switching screens.
What happens #
- UpWiz can create a restore point first if backups are enabled.
- WordPress installs the new plugin version.
- UpWiz updates the dashboard so you can see the result.
This is most convenient for standard WordPress.org plugins. If a plugin uses its own vendor delivery system, you may see Visit Vendor instead of an Update button.
