Exclusions: Hiding and Excluding Plugins

< 1 min read

Plugin exclusions subtab showing No Auto and Hidden toggles

The Exclusions area gives you two different controls, and they solve different problems.

No Auto #

Use No Auto when you want a plugin to stay visible in UpWiz but never be updated automatically. This is the safer choice for checkout, security, login, page builder, membership, and custom-code plugins.

Hidden #

Use Hidden when you want a plugin removed from the UpWiz dashboard view. It does not uninstall the plugin or stop normal WordPress update handling.

Both toggles live in UpWiz → Settings → Safe updates → Exclusions and save immediately.
