Privacy Overview: What Data UpWiz Collects

Site health and data overview showing data collection status

UpWiz is designed to use the minimum data needed for update review, licensing, and safety features.

What UpWiz may send #

  • License and site details when you validate or refresh a key
  • Plugin names, versions, and release-note context when you request AI analysis
  • Plugin names and versions when you run vulnerability checks or enable monitoring

What UpWiz does not send #

  • Visitor data
  • Post or page content
  • WooCommerce order data
  • Passwords or unrelated site content

Some features rely on WordPress.org, UpWiz services, and public vulnerability sources. If you only use the basic dashboard features, UpWiz uses less data than when you enable AI, licensing, or monitoring.
